FUT
In Follicular Unit Transplantation, hair follicles are harvested by keeping them in a saline-based solution to ensure they are viable for the eventual transplant procedure.
A surgeon will cut a strip of skin from the back of the head. The incision is several inches long. The surgeon then separates the removed area of the scalp into two sections. Follicular unit grafts are then transplanted. These sections will help the hair grow. The incision site is then stitched up.
This technique is old and unpopular.
